Falgardwood is the type of neighbourhood that is a mature and family friendly area located in the Northeast part of Oakville.

The boundary of Falgarwood is east of Trafalgar Road, south of Upper Middle Road, west of Ninth Line and north of the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW).

The Falgarwood community consists of mostly detached homes, with a selection of semi detached townhomes, links townhomes, condo townhomes and freehold townhomes.

Within the Falgarwood community, there are three schools that serve the students in the area.

This includes Sheridan Public School, providing Junior Kindergarten to grade five. From there students move to Falgardwood Public School for grades 6 - 8. For families who might live closer to Falgarwood School, then their children will attend from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8.

Lastly, you have Holy Family Catholic School servicing the separate school supporters.

For the residents of Falgarwood, their shopping can be done at the Upper Oakville Shopping Centre, which is conveniently located at Upper Middle Road and Eight Line.

Falgarwood has a lot to offer those who love the outdoors. There are several parks and trails for everyone to enjoy. Other outdoor fun includes, Falgarwood Outdoor Pool, which also provides lessons and is open during the summer months.

The local library is within walking distance, and can be found at the Iroquois Ridge Community Centre. There is also a recreational centre at the Iroquois Ridge Community Centre that holds an Olympic size indoor pool, fitness centre, senior recreation programs and community room rentals.

Falgarwood is a great neighbourhood and has a lot to offer everyone. This is a great neighbourhood to raise a family and you would not regret doing so.
